2016 Cleveland Go Red For Women Health Expo & Luncheon
Elk & Elk is excited to join the American Heart Association in celebrating National Wear Red Day® at the 2016 Cleveland Go Red For Women Health Expo & Luncheon.
The event will be held on Friday, Feb. 5, at the Cleveland Convention Center. The Health Expo, which includes educational sessions and health screenings, kicks off at 10 a.m. Following the Health Expo, guests will attend a luncheon and program from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the U.S., contributing to the deaths of nearly half a million women each year. The American Heart Association uses the event to raise awareness and funds to support the fight against the disease, while providing tools and resources to help women reduce their risk for heart disease and stroke.
The organization aims to bring in over $1 million with the help of more than 1,100 guests at this year’s event. Elk & Elk Partner Marilena DiSilvio is a member of the Cleveland Go Red For Women Executive Leadership Team.
Tickets for the Go Red For Women Health Expo & Luncheon can be purchased online, and opportunities to volunteer are also available.
