Elk & Elk is proud to be a sponsor of Race for the Place on Sunday, June 7, presented by University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center to benefit The Gathering Place.
This event is the largest local celebration of National Cancer Survivors Day and we look forward to celebrating cancer survivorship with more than 5,000 people.
This year is the 15th year of Race for the Place and the goal is to raise $400,000 (net) to help provide the necessary support to keep all of the programs and services free of charge for individuals and families in the community who are touched by cancer.
Sunday, June 7, 2015

The Gathering Place
The Gathering Place opened in January 2000 as a nonprofit, community-based cancer support center to fill an unmet need in the greater Cleveland community. The programs and services offered address the social, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of individuals with cancer and their support network. The mission of The Gathering Place is to support, educate and empower individuals and families touched by cancer through programs and services provided free of charge.
