Tackle the Tower

The newly formed Health and Wellness Committee at Elk & Elk invites you to join us and register for the 12th annual Tackle the Tower Stair Climb Race and Walk to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland® on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Participants will climb 37 flights of stairs at the Tower at Erieview, located in the Center Court of the Galleria & Tower at Erieview, 1301 E. 9th Street in Downtown Cleveland. Lace up your sneakers, grab a friend and sign up today! Register online.

The race starts at 9:00 a.m. in Stairwell B. Runners will be lined up in the order that their entry was received and will start every 10 seconds. If you’re not a runner, you can still get plenty of exercise while helping a good cause by joining the Fun Walk at 8:45 a.m. in Stairwell A.

Grand Opening

Attorneys from Elk & Elk were among the many sponsors in attendance at the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland on November 15, 2013, celebrating the grand opening of the expansion and renovation project.

A new wing was built to add additional space on four floors, including 18 new guest rooms, a larger kitchen facility, an extended recreation room for families to gather and an expanded conference center available for community meetings. In the House, the common areas and all 37 original guest rooms have been upgraded. Outdoors, a new koi pond and gardens will be ready for visitors in the spring.

The concierge team offers support and community resources to visiting families. About Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland has offered families of pediatric patients a comfortable home-away-from-home near the hospital since 1979. The House provides a sense of normalcy with home-cooked meals, comfortable beds and recreational activities for the whole family to enjoy. Last year, RMH provided support and services to over 81,000 individuals who were dealing with their child’s illness or injury.
