Elk + Elk Presents 18th Annual None 4 Under 21 and Choices Beyond Program
Elk + Elk is proud to once again partner with Portage County Safe Communities to present the 18th Annual None 4 Under 21 and Choices Beyond Program.
Around 1,682 high school seniors from 13 local high schools in Portage, Geauga, Mahoning, Stark, Summit, and Trumbull counties will attend the event at Kent State University on April 28, 2023.
“This is a powerful visual and personal demonstration to our young community members of the consequences of bad choices, in particular, made while impaired. Our office sees these consequences in our business, and we are committed to helping raise awareness and reduce injury and death. We thank Portage County for allowing us to assist.“

None 4 Under 21 and Choices Beyond 2023
Craig McLaughlin, partner at Elk + Elk, will emcee the 2023 None 4 Under 21 program. At the event, students can reflect on the importance of making wise decisions and the potential consequences of risky choices. This will be achieved through a PSA video and guest speakers who will share their personal experiences.
As they exit the program, they will pass through the Walk of Remembrance featuring families honoring their loved ones killed in traffic crashes.
This year’s None 4 Under 21 speakers include:
- Marc Streem – A father whose son was killed in a crash at the age of 14. Streem is a registered nurse at UH Portage Medical Center and has worked in critical care nursing for over 25 years.
- Brian Rosenburg – A graduate who caused a chain reaction crash while under the influence that killed one person and injured himself and another on Valentine’s Day in 2014.
- Captain Jeff Green – Captain, Warren District Commander of the Ohio State Patrol.
Portage County Safe Communities arranges the None 4 Under 21 and Choices Beyond Program. This program, under the jurisdiction of Portage County Health District, aims to minimize preventable accidents by emphasizing seat belt adherence, discouraging impaired and distracted driving, and promoting motorcycle safety. Moreover, the division oversees the Fatal Review Board, which analyzes lethal crash patterns within the county.
Sponsors of the 2023 None 4 Under 21 and Choices Beyond program include Elk + Elk and Kent State University Admissions.
