Official Sponsor of Kyrie Irving’s Pro Camp

Elk & Elk is proud to have been an official sponsor of the 2013 Kyrie Irving Basketball ProCamp. As a Premier Partner, we had the opportunity to invest in the children of our community, helping them succeed and realize their dreams.

Kyrie Irving, Cleveland Point Guard and former Rookie of the Year, was on site, directing activities and providing instruction. The two-day event took place August 10th-11th at Independence High School. Boys and girls in grades 1 -12 were provided with a fun and educational experience, where they focused on teamwork and basketball fundamentals.

The student athletes were divided into small groups in order to ensure that each camper received personalized instruction from the top basketball coaches in the Cleveland area. Irving also gave daily talks highlighting the finer points of the game of basketball and beyond.

ProCamps hosts tens of thousands of kids every year, including underprivileged youth from each community. Since 1998, ProCamps has operated sports camps and related events across the country for professional athletes in the National Basketball Association, National Football League, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League, Professional Golfers Association, and Women’s Professional Soccer.
