Physiomesh Hernia Mesh
Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson subsidiary, withdrew Physiomesh® from the market in 2016 after reports of severe complications, including infection, chronic pain, organ damage, mesh migration, and the need for corrective surgery. Approved by the FDA without clinical trials, Physiomesh was used in hernia procedures since 2010 but has been linked to increased risks and adverse effects. If you had laparoscopic hernia surgery involving Physiomesh and suffered complications, you may be entitled to compensation.
PFAS Water Contamination Lawsuit (Ohio)
PFAS, or “forever chemicals,” are synthetic compounds used in household products and firefighting foams (AFFF) that persist in the environment, contaminating water, air, and soil. Exposure to PFAS has been linked to severe health issues, including kidney disease, thyroid and testicular cancers, and liver damage. Despite a $10.3 billion settlement from 3M to address water contamination, individuals exposed to PFAS may still seek compensation for health problems.
Ozempic and Wegovy Lawsuit
The medications Ozempic and Wegovy, commonly prescribed for type 2 diabetes and weight loss, have recently been associated with Non-Arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION), a condition that can cause irreversible blindness by damaging the optic nerve. Risk factors include age, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. If you or a loved one experienced vision issues after using these medications, you may be entitled to compensation.
Paraquat Weed Killer
Exposure to Paraquat, a toxic commercial herbicide, has been linked to a significantly increased risk of Parkinson’s disease, a progressive brain disorder that affects movement and coordination. Farmers, farmworkers, herbicide applicators, and individuals living near farming areas are particularly vulnerable to exposure. Research dating back to 2009 shows strong connections between Paraquat and Parkinson’s, with studies indicating up to a 250% higher risk among those exposed. If you or a loved one developed Parkinson’s after Paraquat exposure, you may be entitled to compensation.
Hair Relaxer Lawsuit
Frequent use of chemical hair relaxers, which contain harmful chemicals like sodium hydroxide and formaldehyde, has been linked to an increased risk of cancer, including uterine and ovarian cancer, and other illnesses. These risks are particularly concerning for Black women, who use these products at higher rates, as well as hair salon workers and other vulnerable groups. If you or a loved one developed cancer or other health issues after using or being exposed to chemical hair relaxers, you may be entitled to compensation.
Roundup Cancer Lawsuit
Exposure to Roundup®, a widely used weed killer containing glyphosate, has been linked to a 41% increased risk of developing non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) and related cancers, including B-cell and T-cell lymphomas. Farmers, landscapers, groundskeepers, and homeowners are among those at risk, with diagnoses often occurring after direct or indirect exposure. If you or a loved one developed NHL or a related cancer after using Roundup, you may be entitled to compensation.
Baby Formula Linked to NEC
Baby formulas, including Similac and Enfamil, have been linked to Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) in premature infants. NEC is a serious intestinal disease caused by bacteria entering the intestinal walls, leading to inflammation, infection, and potentially life-threatening complications. Symptoms include abdominal swelling, vomiting, and bloody stool, often occurring weeks after birth.
Mesothelioma
Mesothelioma, a rare and aggressive cancer caused by asbestos exposure, often develops decades after initial contact with the harmful mineral. While asbestos was banned in the 1970s, many individuals were unknowingly exposed in workplaces, homes, and other environments. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed, you may be entitled to compensation from those responsible.
